Pets are not allowed in the tasting room or winery. However, pets are welcome in the shaded patio area just outside the winery.
We know it can be confusing for people to understand when and where
pets are allowed
because some retailers allow and even encourage people to bring their
pets with them.
However, most retail establishments are not regulated by the FDA and
therefore have no government restrictions on allowing pets.
Restaurants, grocery stores and wineries are
regulated by the FDA and the FDA does not permit pets inside a regulated facility.
Service dogs are allowed in all establishments.
This is because the FDA does not define an official service dog as a pet.
Please also note that some tasting rooms DO allow pets. This is possible
if the tasting room is not colocated inside a winery.
However, when you enter our tasting room you are entering our winery,
and a winery cannot allow pets inside.
